Job Description

Mission:  Develop and implement a solid Quality foundation within the Product Development lifecycle. Drive flawless excursion aiming for the best-in-class achievements. Guide and mentor others with the Quality mindset for zero defect.

Main activities/responsibilities:

  • Drive the Quality mindset to the projects

  • Develop, implement Quality plan

  • Implement and coach the application/usage of Quality tools during the Product Development cycle (QFD, FMEA, Control Plan, RCA, Risk Assessment, etc)

  • Support supplier Development and validation plan, reviewing and approving it, assuring preventive actions are taken and sufficient measures for functionality and safety function are considered

  • Drive for preventive actions during product design (Error proof, Poke-Yokes, DFM/DFA)

  • Assure Software Validation plan meets all Customer requirements, regulations, safety functions and functionalities

  • Develop and report Project Quality deliverables

  • Promote the utilization of Lessons learned tool and validating it during Design Reviews

  • Support Pre-series activities at plant, preparing the PPAP dossier

  • Perform Audits (product/process)

  • Work hand-on-hand with Safety Function activities

Complementing the Preferred skills:

  • Software/Firmware validation
  • Previous experience with PCB, power control, converters, BMS

Required Skills

  • Must have a Bachelor’s in Engineering Degree

  • Strong knowledge and proven application of APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, Problem Solving Tools

  • Experience with problem-solving tools and processes

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with Supplier Development
  • Previous experience with HV Batteries Programs
  • Previous experience with electronics and controls, power management systems
  • Applied knowledge using risk assessment tools
  • Spanish and Chinese are a differential
  • Green Belt certified

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years experience in Development Quality activities supporting Program Management Team

Job Location

Reading, Pennsylvania, or could be home based. Depending on skill set, experience etc.
