Casting, Chemistry, Electromechanical assembly. preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure the application of standard processes, tools, KPI’s and related (process and product) audits;

Ensure the full integration/enhancement of Quality with Manufacturing EOS;

Ensure the application of Quality Tools handling;

Handle critical issues (deviations), recovery plans, risk evaluation;

Guarantee product conformity in Input/output phase; Process Capability; Data handling; Material handling;

Ensure products compliance with Company Quality standards carrying out functional tests and Audits.

Application of Quality Budget monitoring;

Develop quality team to assure adequate competences

Actively participate in customer liaison activities, including site/application assessments and problem resolutions

 

Qualifications

Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Education and Training — 10 years of experience with a BS degree in related field. Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.

English Language —

Spanish Language — highly desirable.

our client is a manufacturer for the tier 1 automotive world and other industries involving batteries. The director is going to oversee 10 plants and will be traveling up to 75%. 10 quality managers report in +200 indirect. Most of the travel is in the US but there will be occasional trips to Mexico. Living north of Philadelphia is a requirement.
